Our students’ safety and security is one of our primary concerns.
BCJA shares a unique partnership with Berean Child Development Center (BCDC) and Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy (GAAA) catering to the educational needs of children from eighteen months to high school. As of January 2013, all three schools working in conjunction with Q&A Security Consultants, Inc. has worked to successfully improve the campus security in three key areas:
1. Uniform police officers are being utilized each day to provide a safer environment for our students in the interior and exterior of all the schools during hours of operation.
2. A new video surveillance system has been installed in all three schools that will allow the schools staff to monitor the activities that occur inside the school, as well as, the parking lot areas located in front and rear of the complex.
3. New high intensity outside lighting has been installed in the front driveway area of the school complex.
Our campus Safety Team meets on a regular basis to ensure we have a “living’ and “workable” plan. Each month we conduct a fire, tornado or lock down drill to ensure our students are well aware of our procedures.
These improvements have been made to provide the safest learning environment for our most precious asset, your child!
