Parents may also seek assistance from their faith community, friends and family members to secure funding for tuition.

Tax Credit Scholarships

The Georgia Tax Credit Scholarship program allows individuals and corporations to receive a tax credit for donations to Georgia Student Scholarship Organizations (SSOs). SSOs use the donations to grant scholarships to public school students to attend the qualified private school of their parent’s choice. Created in 2008, the program has helped thousands of students attend the school of their choice.

To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must:

  • Be a resident of Georgia
  • Be enrolled in a Georgia public school or be eligible to enroll in a qualified first grade, kindergarten, or pre-kindergarten program.
  • Some SSOs have additional eligibility requirements.

AAA and Arete Scholars Fund

AAA Scholarship Foundation (AAA) and Arete Scholars Fund are two separate private non-profit, 501(c)(3), approved Student Scholarship Organizations operating in the state of Georgia. Both programs award Private School Tax Credit Scholarships to eligible students entering Pre-K through High School to help them attend an eligible private school of their choice.  Currently BCJA have enrolled students who are supported by both scholarships. Georgia law limits the amount of tax credits available for donations to organizations like AAA and Arete.

AAA Scholarship will be sending current families renewal applications for 2018-2019 on February 15th.  Currently, there is no funding for new applicants to apply. For additional information on AAA Scholarship click here

Arete Scholarship Fund is no longer accepting new applications for the 2018-2019 school year.[/vc_column_text][thim-gallery-images number=”1″ item_tablet=”1″ show_pagination=”yes” image=”8299″ image_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1471796791252{margin-bottom: 63px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1471796770554{margin-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Special Needs Scholarship
